The Bank of China building is a three-story Baroque building. It was built in 1908 by German expatriates in Shanghai through fundraising. It is of brick-wood structure and designed by Beigao Architects. It is the only building among many buildings on the Bund that is designed and built by the Chinese themselves. Opening hours: Open from Monday to Friday throughout the year, from 09:00 to 17:00. It is open on Saturdays and Sundays depending on the situation.
