Bao Gong Park

Bao Gong Park, established to commemorate the upright official Bao Zhen of the Northern Song Dynasty, is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. The entire park covers an area of 34.5 hectares, with a water area of 15 hectares. The park’s layout is open, consisting of landmarks such as Bao Gong Temple, Bao Gong Tomb, Qingfeng Pavilion, and Fuzhuang.
Bao Gong Park is one of the first anti-corruption education bases, cross-strait exchange bases, and international cultural exchange bases for overseas Chinese in China. The park showcases Bao Gong’s life of ‘loyalty, filial piety, integrity, and incorruptibility’ from various perspectives and in different forms, with the main theme of ‘Historical Bao Gong – Cultural Bao Gong – Cultural Relics Bao Gong’.

Bao Zhen, styled Xiren, was respectfully called ‘Bao Gong’. He was born in Hefei, Anhui in 999 AD and passed away in Kaifeng, Henan in 1062 AD, posthumously known as ‘Xiaosu’. The park is open all year round from 09:00 to 17:00. Parking facilities are available at Bao Gong Temple parking lot.
