Bazi Bridge is located at the eastern end of Baziqiao Direct Street in Shaoxing city. The stone bridge, structurally shaped like the character ‘eight’, ingeniously connects three small rivers that converge here. Standing on the bridge, one can occasionally catch a glimpse of locals washing clothes by the river, evoking a sense of returning to a primitive and pure era. Bazi Bridge connects three roads on land and facilitates water traffic from north to south, receiving water from Jianhu Lake in the south and reaching the ancient canal of Hangzhou in the north, making it one of the main waterways of ancient Yue City. This area still retains its simple residential buildings, free from commercialization and tourist crowds, allowing visitors to immerse in the unhurried pace of life of the locals. On a rainy day, the mood is even more romantic; the damp cobblestone paths fulfill all your imaginations about the Jiangnan region, and photography enthusiasts often capture photos full of charm. The opening hours are subject to the daily operational status.
