Baziqiao Square is an open, fan-shaped plaza featuring a famous bridge, numerous bas-reliefs, and a lotus pond with a fountain. Within the pond, there is a set of wooden sailboats and sculptures depicting children playing in the water.
A sunken mini-plaza is located at the front of the central section of the square, facilitating cultural and fitness activities for citizens. The western part of the square is adorned with the Four Plaque Building.
