Deji Art Museum is delighted to announce the global debut of the highly anticipated solo exhibition of the internationally renowned contemporary digital artist Beeple (Mike Winkelmann), titled ‘Beeple: Tales From A Synthetic Future’, which will open on November 14, 2024 (Thursday). Curated by top international curator, art critic, and art historian Hans Ulrich Obrist, in collaboration with Deji Art Museum, the exhibition provides a systematic and comprehensive review of Beeple’s artistic career. It invites visitors to immerse themselves in exploring the various dimensions of Beeple’s artistic practice, understanding the questions he raises and the profound impact he has on the development of digital and contemporary art history. This exhibition is the largest Beeple solo show to date, featuring his most notable works, including ‘Everydays’, ‘Human One’, ‘S.2122’, as well as new works specially created for this exhibition. Additionally, it will showcase a section dedicated to discovering and nurturing young digital artists and a series of forums and public programs. The exhibition will be open from November 14 to December 31, with specific business hours subject to daily opening conditions.
