Located next to the Fish Dive into the Sea Square in Beihai Silver Beach Tourist Resort, Ocean Wonderland Aquarium is a themed oceanarium that focuses on parent-child marine interaction. It features an exquisite layout with indoor and outdoor connections and a ‘bullet time’ effect created by a hundred digital cameras. The aquarium integrates marine life culture education and mermaid performances.
The aquarium spans two floors. The first floor primarily displays fish species such as lionfish, pufferfish, yellow foxes, and wolf eels, along with exhibits of shells, conchs, and starfish. Handicrafts made of shells and dolls of mermaids and dolphins are also available for sale.
The second floor mainly showcases various types of jellyfish, including Red Moon Jellyfish, Australian Spot Jellyfish, Cannonball Jellyfish, Atlantic Jellyfish, and Papua Nitrate Jellyfish.
The aquarium is open throughout the year from 09:00 to 21:30. The preferential policy for children is as follows: children under 6 years old (excluding) or under 1.2 meters in height (excluding) enter for free; each adult can bring one child for free (additional children must pay for a ticket).
