The Beijing Local Chronicles Museum is a comprehensive exhibition center that spans an area of approximately 10,000 square meters. It is meticulously divided into several distinct sections, including a reading hall, multi-function hall, exhibition area, and editorial rooms.
Within its vast collection, the museum houses over 50,000 volumes. These books encompass a wide range of topics, such as historical records, materials, research works, chronicles, and reference books, all of which pertain to various aspects of Beijing’s politics, economy, history, culture, and society.
The museum operates daily from January 1st to December 31st, welcoming visitors from 09:30 to 17:00. It serves not only as a place for collection and preservation but also as a hub for reading, compilation, research, consultation, display, and exchange.
