Biaoying Gate is located next to Yueya Lake Park, and it is one of the additional gates of the Ming City Wall in Nanjing, named after its proximity to the Back Banner Camp in Nanjing. In 1996, with the opening of Houbiaoying Road and the construction of Yueya Lake Bridge, a gap was created in this section of the Nanjing Ming City Wall, resulting in a break in the wall. In 2009, the Nanjing Municipal Government opened Biaoying Gate to reconnect and communicate the gap in the Nanjing Ming City Wall. On Houbiaoying Road, one can enjoy both the urban scenery and the beautiful views of Yueya Lake Park. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the daily opening conditions.
