Binhu Park is located in the beautiful and elegant Yunlong Lake Scenic Area in the southern part of Xuzhou City. It is adjacent to Yunlong Mountain with a long history and rich humanities to the east, connects Hanshan Mountain that stretches continuously to the west, borders Yunlong Lake with vast expanse of blue waves to the south (hence the name Binhu Park), and is close to Xuzhou urban area with a population of 1.63 million to the north. It has unique natural conditions. Being in the park is like being in a painting. Binhu Park is 4038 meters long and 140 meters wide, covering an area of about 800 mu. The park takes ‘returning to nature’ as its theme and is divided into east and west gardens. The east garden is mainly dynamic, integrating leisure tourism and fitness and entertainment. Among the green grass and shaded by trees, artificial works and natural landscapes are in perfect harmony. The scenic spots are undulating at different heights and are well-arranged. The amusement facilities are novel and exciting, full of dynamic beauty. The total greening area is more than 75%. The west garden is mainly quiet. European architecture and Chinese gardens are organically integrated and complement each other, exuding unique charm. The total greening area is more than 90%.
