Bo Xian Park is a park built by the people of Zhenjiang in 1926 to commemorate the martyrs of the Xinhai Revolution, Zhao Bo Xian. It was meticulously designed by the horticultural expert Chen Yangcai and took 5 years to complete, finally opening to the public in June 1931.
The park is located on the scenic Yuntai Mountain in the urban area, with the words ‘Bo Xian Park’ on the right side of the front gate and ‘Martyr’s Deeds Introduction’ on the left. Inside the park’s main entrance, on the east side, there is a memorial hall dedicated to Zhao Bo Xian, showcasing his revolutionary life.
The park is open all day from January 1st to December 31st. A must-see tip: the park is on Yuntai Mountain, at the foot of which lies the ancient Xijing Ferry Street and a group of modern buildings, which can be enjoyed together.
