The ‘Fish Viewing Spot’ has been renamed to ‘Facing Water Pavilion’ after being rebuilt by Governor Zhang Shusheng in the twelfth year of the Tongzhi era. It is named after the Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu’s verse ‘All levels of the pavilion face the water, old trees have withstood the frost.’ Inside, there is another plaque hung which reads ‘Land Boat Water House,’ symbolizing a dry boat. This pavilion faces north, with ancient trees of varying heights before it, creating a picturesque scene. To the left of the pavilion, there is a winding corridor extending eastward, allowing for movement on both sides, borrowing scenery from both inside and outside. Across the water, it greets visitors, and along the riverbank, there used to be exquisite lake stones, said to resemble the shapes of five hundred arhats.
