The Canyon Scenic Corridor scenic area is four kilometers away from the county seat. The scenery is extremely beautiful. There is a saying that ‘It is suspected to be looking at Wushan in the Wu Gorge, and then from Lingfeng to Lingyan. The two corridors of forests, springs, ravines and waterfalls are like paintings, and the heaven-opened paintings are extremely beautiful in the world.’ Therefore, it is called the scenic corridor.
Inside the scenic corridor, there are sceneries at every step, and they are different in four seasons. The mountains on both sides are green cliffs, the waterfalls between the mountains are colorful, the ancient red maple path on the mountain ridge, and the clear and limpid pools at the bottom of the valley are extremely beautiful. In the spring of the Canyon Scenic Corridor, all trees compete for spring and all flowers compete to bloom; in the early summer of the Canyon Scenic Corridor, all flowers are in full bloom and the beauty is fragrant; in the late autumn of the Canyon Scenic Corridor, the leaves are as red as fire and better than spring; in the deep winter of the Canyon Scenic Corridor, the glaciers hang on the ground and sparkle. At the entrance of the Canyon Scenic Corridor, there is a stone forest waterfall on the mountain beside it. Countless stalagmites are like layers of dense forests. On the top of the mountain about 300 meters high, a rush of water rushes out of thin air and falls down a cliff more than 30 meters high in two folds, splashing jade and beads. The white curtain meanders and floats down, winding and appearing and disappearing from time to time until it reaches the bottom of the gorge. Next to the left side of the waterfall, there is a rock crevice, which is more than 20 meters long, 2 meters wide and 3 meters deep. The rock crevice is covered with moss and drips water all year round. In the evening of summer, steaming smoke and puffing fog, contrasting with the waterfall in softness and hardness, are full of interest. Sanxian Rock is on the mountain on the left side at the entrance of the Canyon Scenic Corridor, opposite to the stone forest waterfall on the opposite mountain. Near the top of the mountain, there are three huge rocks, just like three immortals standing on the mountain top with strong wind, watching the waterfall on the opposite mountain. On the right side of Sanxian Rock, there is a ‘human-faced turtle’. Legend has it that when Lu Dongbin and three immortals riding turtles traveled here, Dongbin was drunk and sprayed a mouthful of sake at the stone forest on the opposite mountain. Immediately, the stone forest became a waterfall. The three immortals and the divine turtle were stunned and turned into stone statues.Opening hours: From January 1st to December 31st, open from 08:00 to 17:00.
