The Changshu Confucian Temple was built in the Northern Song Dynasty and has always occupied an important position in the history of Changshu. After modern restoration and renovation, it is now magnificent and very spectacular. Yan Yan, who was born in Changshu, was the only southern disciple of Confucius in the Spring and Autumn Period. Now taking Yan Yan as the object of blessing is a major feature of the Changshu Confucian Temple. The Changshu Confucian Temple mainly has three axes, which are divided into the east line, the central line, and the west line. The layout is reasonable. There are dozens of monuments and other historical sites from the Yuan Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, which are very worth seeing.
