Nestled in the heart of Changxing Town, Chongming District, Changxing Island Country Park spans an area equivalent to 1.5 Dongping National Forest Parks. Within the park, visitors can delight in the abundance of fruit varieties in the orange picking garden and the Hundred Fruits World, including citrus, cherries, yellow peaches, watermelon peaches, persimmons, grapes, pears, figs, kiwis, blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries, offering a unique picking experience in different seasons.
You are also welcome to bring your pets for a countryside outing. The park’s operating hours are as follows: from May 1st to October 15th, open from 08:30 to 17:00; from October 17th to October 31st, open from 08:30 to 17:00; from November 1st to April 30th, open from 09:00 to 16:30; and on October 16th, open from 12:00 to 17:00. The plum garden is closed on Mondays and Fridays.
