Changzhou Baolin Temple on Prajna Mountain is located in Yancheng, Wujin District, Changzhou. The temple was built in the eighth year of Datong (527 AD) during the reign of Emperor Wu of Liang, Xiao Yan. It was founded by Emperor Wu of Liang. It is famous because Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva stepped on the West Taihu Lake and left traces here. The temple covers an area of more than 200 mu, and there are more than 50 resident monks.
