The Wujin Radio and Television Tower stands at 228 meters tall and is a member of the Chinese Tall Tower Committee. It is also a landmark and image project in Wujin City. The tower is equipped with broadcasting, television, and wireless communication signal transmission functions, covering a signal range that reaches 18 surrounding counties and cities, with an audience of over 20 million people. Currently, the tower primarily undertakes the transmission tasks of a set of Wujin TV programs, a set of Wujin radio frequency modulation programs, and multiple wireless paging systems. In addition, the tower also serves as a site for sightseeing, tourism, and entertainment. It is open all year round, with 24-hour access to the exterior.
