Chaohewan Ecological Park

Chaohe Bay is located within Yibei Township, Guanyun County, Jiangsu Province. It extends south to the north embankment of the New Yihe River and connects to National Highway 204 in the north. It is 3 kilometers long. The average width of the river surface is about 180 meters, and in wide areas, it reaches more than 200 meters. The formation of this river course has a long history. It is a natural river in an ‘S’ shape formed by the tides over a hundred years.


Hence, it is named as such. Chaohewan Ecological Park is adjacent to Chaohe Bay and covers an area of 894 mu, including 324 mu of water area and 370 mu of Green Island scenic area and public land. It is divided into ‘four districts and six islands’, namely comprehensive service area, Orchard Island, Homeland Island, Farming Island, Flower and Tree Island, Fishing Island, water sports area, viewing area, leisure area, and resort area.


Opening hours: Open from 08:30 to 18:00 from April 1 to October 31; Open from 08:30 to 17:30 from November 1 to March 31.
