Entering the Cherry Blossom Garden, the first thing that catches the eye is the Lansheng Bridge with marble railings. The bridges in the Cherry Blossom Garden are colorful, with different shapes and prominent personalities. From west to east, there are a total of eight bridges, namely Wolong Bridge, Jinchuan Bridge, Huawang Bridge, Xiannv Bridge, Magpie Bridge, Lanyue Bridge and Wenmei Bridge. The names of each bridge are related to well-known historical stories.

The water in the Cherry Blossom Garden is diverted from the ancient Yellow River. Strangely enough, the originally turbid and flowing eastward ancient Yellow River water becomes clear and pure when introduced into the Cherry Blossom Garden. Fish are playing, water lilies are washing feet. Against the backdrop of the lush greenery in the garden, it is like an emerald jade belt, integrating the Jin Yin Mountain, Jin Yin Beach, Lion Mountain, Crouching Tiger Hill, Ailian Island, Yuwang Terrace, Plum Blossom Ridge, Lover’s Island and other mountains, hills, islands and beaches in the Cherry Blossom Garden.

The water in the Cherry Blossom Garden is not only an ornament but also a paradise for children. Later, when everyone goes to the east of the garden, they can see a water amusement park with advanced facilities, including artificial waves, elevated water slides and river rafting projects. It creates a beautiful summer scenery for the park. After crossing the bridges and observing the water, naturally one should appreciate the strange stones in the Cherry Blossom Garden.

When the Cherry Blossom Garden was first built, 11 carefully selected strange stones were placed in the garden. The large one weighs 40 tons and is 7 meters high. The small one is also about 200 kilograms. Zhuyun Peak stands straight up into the sky, with the moon pulling the long rainbow; the Guanyin on the turtle’s back steps on the turtle’s head, which is exaggerated and interesting; Flaming Mountain is piled up with clouds and peaks, and the flames soar into the sky; Longma Rock is neither a dragon nor a horse, which is soul-stirring.

There are also strange stones such as the heavenly dog watching the moon, Yuwang Stone, Tunu Peak, Huangshigong, Zhurong Peak, Luoshen Jade Seat, and golden rooster heralding dawn. All of them convey the extraordinary cultural connotations of the Cherry Blossom Garden with their extraordinary postures and myths and legends. In the Cherry Blossom Garden, there are also realistic and slightly carved strange stones such as Xiong Mountain, Frog Playing with Water Spray, Two Geese Playing in the Water, and Old God of Longevity, as well as 18 strange stones that use natural shapes and are formed into wall carvings or connected carvings through deep processing, such as Chang’e Flying to the Moon, Squirrel Stealing Grapes, Divine Eagle, Panda Eating Green Bamboo and so on.

There are also 21 finely carved dragon turtles, elephants playing with balls and other craft stones, adding a bit of humorous fun to the landscape of the Cherry Blossom Garden. Pavilions, lofts and corridors are another important feature of the Cherry Blossom Garden. Here there are 14 buildings such as Lanxiu Tower, Shengjing Pavilion, Baochun Pavilion, Peony Pavilion, Dangui Pavilion, and Lotus Wind and Moonlight Pavilion.

Just their names can arouse countless reveries. Yingtang Garden is an enchanting scenic spot in the Cherry Blossom Garden. 400 cherry trees and 2100 begonias are clustered together, instantly releasing the spirituality of the Cherry Blossom Garden. Every spring, the snow-like cherry blossoms exude fragrance; every autumn, the begonias are in full bloom with mellow beauty. Blending and highlighting these two seasons in one flower garden is the ingenuity of Yingtang Garden.
