The Clay Figurine Museum is precisely a museum with Wuxi’s unique clay figurine craftsmanship as the main exhibition. Inside the museum, there are more than ten spaces such as the preface hall, Huishan clay figurine exhibition hall, exhibition halls of various schools of Chinese clay figurines, and world clay figurine culture exhibition hall. It collects nearly 5,000 classic works from different periods of 13 major clay figurine production areas across the country, including Tianjin, Beijing, Hebei, Henan, Shaanxi, and Guangdong. It displays the treasures of domestic clay figurine masters and gathers the scattered clay art in the folk for protection and research, allowing tourists at home and abroad to feel the artistic charm of the colorful soil of China.
