China Dinosaur Park is a large-scale amusement park themed around dinosaur culture, integrating science popularization, entertainment, performances, accommodation, and shopping into a one-stop tourist resort. Known as the ‘Jurassic of the East,’ the park features seven major themed areas, more than fifty extreme entertainment projects, and various themed performances daily. It takes visitors back to the ancient and mysterious Jurassic era.
As the iconic building of China Dinosaur Park, the China Dinosaur Museum’s design fully employs biomimicry architecture techniques. From a distance, it looks like three dinosaurs with their heads held high, whispering to each other, with a rich and massive dinosaur body presenting a freehand style, outlining the museum’s exhibition, entertainment, and science popularization spaces. The museum covers an area of over 20,000 square meters, with the highest point of the dragon head reaching 71 meters and the highest point of the museum’s dome reaching 36 meters. Inside the China Dinosaur Museum, there are five main halls and six auxiliary halls. The main halls include the atrium, exhibition hall, landscape hall, observation hall, and cinema hall; auxiliary halls include the entrance hall, VIP reception hall, academic report hall, spare exhibition hall, and spaces such as the rooftop garden and souvenir shop. Each hall is logically connected, complementing and relating to each other. With the history of biological evolution as the design background, the main theme highlights the conception of dinosaurs from survival, reproduction, evolution to destruction, revealing the profound theme that life and environment are interdependent, and humans must protect ecology and the environment.Park Layout: The Dinosaur Park is divided into the China Dinosaur Museum area, Rubla area, Kuksuk Grand Canyon area, Magic Rainforest area, Dream Manor area, Adventure Port, and Crazy Dinosaur People area.
