The China Merchants History Museum is located on Yanshan Road, Shekou. It covers an area of 3,430 square meters, with a building area of 6,153 square meters. The total exhibition area is nearly 2,000 square meters. The entire exhibition hall is designed in a neoclassical style, which is implicit, stable, concise and modern. Among the historical relics of China Merchants collected in the museum, nearly 400 pieces of documentary relics are exhibited, truly reproducing the stormy footprints of China Merchants over more than 130 years. It also reflects the arduous journey of China’s national industrial and commercial enterprises for more than a century. It is of great significance for studying the history of China Merchants, the development history of national industrial and commercial enterprises, and modern economic history.
Opening hours: Closed all day on Sundays throughout the year; Open from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 17:30 from Monday to Saturday throughout the year.
