The Chinese Abacus Museum in Nantong is dedicated to the history of the abacus, a traditional Chinese calculating tool, and displays a variety of abacuses.
The Abacus Hall showcases abacuses from ancient times to the present, with some as small as a fingernail and others as tall as a person. In the Rosewood Abacus Hall, there is a large, uniquely structured, and antique-looking rosewood abacus. The museum extends to the Haohe River in the south, where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery along the riverbank from the water-adjacent platform or take a stroll on the small island of Yin Yuetan in the river.
