Chinese Academy History Exhibition Hall

The Jiangnan Imperial Examination Hall, located in the well-known Confucius Temple scenic area, was one of the largest imperial examination venues in ancient China, covering an area of approximately 300,000 square meters at its peak. Officials who emerged from the Jiangnan Imperial Examination Hall accounted for more than half of the total number of officials in the country. In 1989, within the Nanjing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, which stands on the central site of the Jiangnan Imperial Examination Hall, a 1,000 square meter area was designated to establish the Nanjing Jiangnan Imperial Examination Hall Historical Exhibition Hall.

It is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction and a cultural heritage site protected by Jiangsu Province. The opening hours and specific business status are subject to the daily opening conditions.
