The exhibition area spans over 200 square meters, featuring four major series, more than one hundred varieties, and over three hundred physical exhibits. From the bone whistle, a wind instrument dating back seven thousand years ago found at the Hemudu site (Neolithic Age), to the fish-shaped pottery ocarina unearthed at the Huoshaogou site dating back four thousand years (around the Xia Dynasty); from the bells, se, flutes, sheng, and panpipes in the tomb of Sui County Lei Gudun No.


1 dating back to 433 BC (Warring States Period), to the genuine ancient qins from the Ming and Qing dynasties, the development of musical instruments is fully displayed here. The museum is open all year round on Tuesdays from 09:00 to 15:00. Holiday opening hours are subject to the actual opening status on the day.
