As Christmas draws near, have you considered your festive plans? Recalling the summer, I took Longlong to Baoyan Paradise, an experience he couldn’t get enough of. He often reminisced about it, sharing the joy with his friends. Inspired by Longlong, my best friend’s child is also eager to visit. Thus, I decided to revisit Baoyan Paradise around Christmas. What made Longlong渴望 return? What are the must-see attractions? Let’s explore the classic highlights.

**Baoyan Paradise Tour Tips:**

Baoyan Paradise, a five-story, one-stop parent-child amusement park, promises a full day of entertainment. Located at No. 11, Lane 3825, Dushi Road, Minhang District, it’s an 850-meter walk from Exit 1 of Yindu Road on Line 5. Enjoy convenient transportation and free parking for the first four hours; thereafter, it’s 6 yuan per hour. Business hours are 10:30 – 19:30 (Monday to Friday), and 9:30 – 20:30 (Saturday and Sunday). The water park operates from 11:00 – 18:00.

**@1F Lobby:**
The boys were thrilled by the outdoor dinosaur park featuring Jurassic creatures, eagerly posing for photos. As winter arrives, the lobby dons a festive look with Christmas trees adorned with colorful decorations and a shiny star atop. Children vie to capture moments with the tree, and the lobby is complete with a Santa Claus in red, embodying the Christmas spirit.

**@1F Petting Zoo:**
A variety of cute animals, including alpacas, marmots, chinchillas, and British Shorthairs, captivate the children. With gloves provided and hygiene a priority, children can touch and feed the animals. Longlong, feeding them for the second time, seemed to meet old friends. The petting zoo is a place where children’s love for animals blossoms, a healing interaction that lets them experience nature’s magic.

**@1F Super Combination Slide Paradise:**
A must-visit, this area offers slides of varying steepness, including a 90-degree vertical slide that drops from 7.3 meters in just 4 seconds. It’s an exhilarating way to build children’s courage. Remember to wear anti-slip socks and long clothing for safety. The area is padded and netted for safety, and staff ensure all follow instructions. There’s also a climbing and expanding area for children to play safely.

**1st Floor – VR Dynamic Amusement Park:**
Longlong and his friends experienced the immersive world of VR, which heightened their excitement.

**2nd Floor – Block World:**
Children engage in building their own castles with blocks, resembling little engineers. The skills honed from playing with Legos prove useful here, as the children work in sync, showcasing their creativity.

**2nd Floor – Naughty Castle Amusement Park:**
A small world filled with yellow and white ocean balls promises wild fun. Sliding into the ocean balls is both decompressing and thrilling.

**2nd Floor – Delicious Online Parent-child Restaurant:**
After much play, Longlong needs to refuel. Luckily, there’s a western restaurant on this floor serving delectable dishes like hot pasta.

**2nd Floor – Nail Salon for Moms & Parent-child Handicraft Room:**
Moms can enjoy a nail salon on the second floor, while there’s also a parent-child handicraft room for shared creative activities.

This Christmas, consider Baoyan Paradise for a memorable parent-child adventure filled with joy and excitement.While taking care of kids, moms can enjoy free manicures here, which is very considerate. Next to it is the parent-child handicraft room. Last time, Longlong and I completed a particularly memorable work, which has been framed and placed at home.

Christmas decorations and ornaments can be seen everywhere. Deer, Christmas trees, and Santa Claus cards are suspended in the air. The glass is also pasted with ‘Merry Christmas’ white stickers. Unconsciously, that familiar melody ‘Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way’ rings in the ears. Are you singing along with me?

On the 3rd and 4th floors, Four Seasons Constant Temperature Water Park. The 3rd and 4th floors have been connected. Presumably, what Longlong remembers most deeply should be the water park on the 3rd floor of the amusement park. Baoyan Amusement Park has moved a large water park indoors. The four seasons are constant temperature, with an average annual temperature of about 37 degrees. There is no need to worry about the cold wind outside. Among various water amusement projects, compared to the spiral slide, the rainbow slide that is 5 meters high and 32 meters long is still suitable for many children to play. Longlong is very fond of challenging this project and never tires of it. After playing it more than ten times, he still can’t help but go up and play again. It’s exhilarating and full of laughter. Put on swimsuits and you can enjoy playing in the water. Who says playing in water is an exclusive benefit of summer? Playing in water in winter is even more enjoyable! In the lake exploration area, there are many lovely fountain facilities, suitable for babies who love playing in water. When tired from playing, you can also go to the adjacent parent-child sauna to relax.

On the 5th floor, Roof Grass Skiing & Children’s Horse Riding Field. On the open-air platform on the fifth floor, there are projects such as carousel, Brave Jurassic, Happy Little Train, roof climbing, outdoor grass skiing, etc. As soon as the elevator door opened, a huge dinosaur biting a car was seen. When I came here for the first time, I was still stunned. Outdoor grass skiing is also a popular project. However, due to site maintenance and bad weather, this project cannot be participated in for the time being. Fortunately, I played it with Longlong once last time. Although it is not real grassland, the unique terrain design also adds a lot to the fun. In addition to free projects, there are some paid projects on the fifth floor. For example, at the children’s horse riding field, you can ride a pony for a lap for only 50 yuan. There are special protective clothing and helmets, and there are also special staff on site to give careful guidance.

Once again, as the doors were about to close, we reluctantly bid farewell. The Christmas tree standing by the entrance shimmered with starlight. From the rainbow slide to the mischievous castle, from the constant temperature water park to the outdoor Jurassic adventure, the diverse activities kept the children engrossed and delighted. Surprisingly, as a grown-up with two young boys, Baoyan allowed me the freedom to let go and enjoy a memorable day with the children. A single day here is simply not enough to experience everything!
