The Chunshen Jun Mausoleum is located to the west of the Liyinzi Town Government, approximately 150 meters from the county government. The structure of the mausoleum is simple, with a tomb passage leading directly to the tombstone. Behind the tombstone lies the burial mound. According to archaeological research, this tomb is identified as a late Warring States period high-ranking noble tomb of the Chu State.
However, there are several tombs attributed to Chunshen Jun across the country, and the authenticity of this particular tomb remains to be confirmed. Chunshen Jun, whose name was Huang Xie, was a minister of the Chu State during the Warring States period and was honored as one of the ‘Four Great Nobles of the Warring States’. He once allied six states against the Qin State and held the seal of six states’ chancellors. Unfortunately, he was assassinated by his own attendant, Li Yuan, at Jie Men. Today, the Chunshen Jun Mausoleum is accompanied only by overgrown grass and a solitary burial mound. With the popularity of the TV series ‘The Legend of Mi Yue’, in addition to history enthusiasts, some fans of the show also come to pay their respects. The mausoleum is open all year round from 8:00 to 17:00.Chunshen Jun Mausoleum
