The Ci Xian Government Office was established in the 26th year of the Kaiyuan era of the Tang Dynasty (738 AD) by the first county magistrate, Fang Kuan, and has a history of over 1200 years. Initially built on the Fubi Mountain, it was repeatedly destroyed and reconstructed due to foreign invasions and natural disasters. The existing government office is reconstructed according to the detailed map in the ‘Ci Xi County Chronicles’ during the Guangxu period, covering an area of over 40,000 square meters. Opening hours are from January 1st to September 12th, 08:30-16:30; October 8th to December 31st, 08:30-16:30; and from September 13th to October 7th, 08:30-18:30.
Preferential policies for children: Free entry for children under 6 years old (inclusive) or under 1.2 meters (inclusive) with adult supervision; discounted price for those between 1.2 meters (exclusive) and 1.5 meters (inclusive) in height or between 6 years old (exclusive) and 18 years old (inclusive).
Student discount: Full-time undergraduate and below students with valid student IDs enjoy a discounted price.
Elderly discount: Free entry for those aged 70 and above or retired cadres with relevant documents; discounted price for those aged 60 to 69 with valid documents.
Military discount: Free entry for military personnel, military dependents, disabled veterans, martyr’s families, families of soldiers who died in the line of duty, and families of soldiers who died of illness, with relevant documents.
