The Urban Sightseeing Bus, operated by Chunqiu Tourism Company, is a double-decker tourist bus that allows passengers to explore the popular attractions of Shanghai and enjoy the urban scenery. It offers multilingual audio guides in eight languages and allows passengers to board and disembark at any stop.
Urban Sightseeing Bus Route 1: Urban Sightseeing Tour Line 1/Shanghai Essence Line (Interchangeable), showcasing the unique Shanghai style. Interval: approximately 20 minutes. Coverage includes People’s Square, The Bund, City God Temple·Yuyuan Garden, and Xintiandi.
Route 2: Urban Sightseeing Tour Line 2 connects Puxi and Pudong, showcasing outstanding architecture. Interval: approximately 30 minutes. Departing from Nanjing West Road’s May Thirtieth Movement Monument, it goes directly to Pudong’s Oriental Pearl Tower, Jin Mao Building, Dongchang Road Ferry, passes through the tunnel to the North Bund, and returns via The Bund’s foreign-style architecture, and City God Temple·Yuyuan Garden.
Route 3: Urban Sightseeing Tour Line 3 offers a Pudong-Puxi Bridge Scenic Tour. Interval: approximately 30 minutes. Operating hours: 09:00-16:00. Starting from The Bund, passing by City God Temple·Yuyuan Garden, heading to Pudong’s Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower, and returning via Nanpu Bridge, passengers can enjoy the scenery of both sides of the Huangpu River from the height of the double-decker bus.
Route 4: Urban Sightseeing Tour Line 9 (Special Line for the First, Second, and Fourth National Congress of the Communist Party of China Memorial Halls) connects 5A-level scenic spots and venues. Red-themed bus. (Closed on Mondays) Operating hours: 9:30-16:00. The opening hours are all year round from 09:00-19:00, with different operating times for each route, subject to the operating times of each line.
