Ciyun Temple, originally known as Ciyun Nunnery, was first built in 1615, the 43rd year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty. The temple courtyard has five entrances in succession, namely the mountain gate hall, the Vajra Hall, the Mahavira Hall, the Tripitaka Hall and the National Master Hall. On the large mountain gate hangs an inscribed plaque bestowed by Emperor Yongzheng. Inside the hall, the Buddha statues are solemn, the halls are magnificent and gorgeous, and the flowers and trees in the temple are lush. Later, the emperor repeatedly bestowed purple cassocks, Tripitakas, umbrella-covered scriptures, jade Ruyi and rattan staff faces. Thus, it became famous in Jianghuai region and became a large forest monastery. Opening hours: Open all year round from 5:00 to 17:30.
