Dabieshan Ski Resort is located in Shiguan Township, Yuexi County. It is an alpine ski resort.
Driving route: Exit at Yuexi from the Jiaguang Expressway and follow National Highway 105 towards Zhubu, Shiguan. It is about 20 kilometers to reach.
Scenic spot features:
1. Longer skiing season, more stable snow quality, and larger available skiing area (40,000 square meters).
2. The practice run, beginner run, intermediate run, and rainbow run are arranged side by side for safer skiing.
3. Only 20 kilometers on national highway after getting off the expressway, no transfer needed, more convenient transportation.
4. Recreational items such as snowmobiles and rainbow runs make skiing and playing in the snow enjoyable together.
5. There are many regional tourist attractions such as Tianyuewan Hot Spring, Mingtang Mountain, Tianxia Gorge, and Rainbow Waterfall for a great time.
The beginner ski run has a slope controlled below 10 degrees. The run is wide and the speed is relatively slow. The intermediate ski run has a slope below 15 degrees and a faster speed. Tourists can feel the thrill of speeding skiing.
At the same time, the ski resort introduces multiple snow-making equipment. The artificial snow formed by the principle of snowfall is more effective in resisting sublimation and the influence of heat from light sources, and is easier to shape, significantly enhancing tourists’ skiing experience.
The ski resort is located in the Dabie Mountains. In addition to enjoying skiing, tourists can also enjoy the quiet space brought by the natural oxygen bar. Since the natural vegetation in the Dabie Mountains area of Yuexi is well preserved, with pine and fir forests and beautiful environment, and high negative oxygen ion content in the air, it can be said that the skiing trip is also an oxygen inhalation trip.
There are many scenic spots around the ski resort. It is only a dozen kilometers from the hot spring town. Tourists can also enjoy a hot spring after a thrilling skiing.
