The Jiangnan Suspended Temple is located in the picturesque Daciyan Scenic Area. The cliff high cave architecture is a major feature of Daciyan. The main hall of the Suspended Temple, the Earth Storey King Hall, is built against the mountain, with half embedded in the rock belly and half suspended in the air, which is quite spectacular and dangerous. It shares a similar ingenuity with the Suspended Temple of Hengshan in Shanxi. The newly built temple, Qingfeng Pavilion, is constructed on the cliff, giving the impression of soaring into the clouds from a distance. Upon ascending the temple and overlooking, one can take in the surrounding mountains and rivers, making it the ultimate suspended experience.
