The Dalongshan Mountain Scenic Area has a planned area of 68 square kilometers and is planned into five areas. The core scenic area, Zhuyu Mountain area, is 6 square kilometers. In the scenic area, there is Dalongshan Mountain, the highest peak in Xuzhou with an altitude of 361 meters. Also known as Zhuyu Mountain. There is the Zhuyu Temple, a national Pharmacist Buddha Dojo with a history of 1,500 years. It was inaugurated by Master Hsing Yun and other eminent monks on September 28, 2011. Zhuyu Temple is located in the ten-thousand-mu pomegranate garden on the southern slope of Dalongshan Mountain and is a unique Pharmacist Buddha Dojo in China. ‘Dalongshan Mountain hides Zhuyu Temple, and the pomegranate garden is home to the Pharmacist Buddha.’ This is the finishing touch of the Dalongshan Mountain Scenic Area. Wang Wei, a poet of the Tang Dynasty, also known as Mojie, is called the ‘Poet Buddha’. During the Double Ninth Festival, he climbed Zhuyu Mountain and visited Zhuyu Temple. Inspired, he wrote the poem ‘Thinking of My Brothers in Shandong on the Ninth Day of the Ninth Month’: ‘Alone, a stranger in a foreign land, I miss my relatives doubly during festivals. From afar, I know my brothers have climbed high, and when they insert dogwoods everywhere, one person is missing.’ The main scenic spots in the core scenic area of the Dalongshan Mountain Scenic Area include Zhuyu Temple, Zhuyu Garden, the ten-thousand-mu pomegranate leisure expo garden, the thousand-mu rape flower viewing garden, the pharmacist health preservation center, the thousand-mu terraced field photography base, and the youth expansion training base. It is a high-quality scenic area integrating leisure, entertainment, vacation, freehand brushwork, health preservation, and meditation. The Dalongshan Mountain Scenic Area has beautiful natural ecological environment, profound cultural accumulation, and rich tourism resources. The Dalongshan Mountain Scenic Area has been rated as a provincial forest park, a provincial science and technology demonstration park, a provincial ecological sightseeing park. The ten-thousand-mu pomegranate leisure expo garden in the scenic area is the largest high-yield pomegranate garden in Jiangsu Province and a national four-star rural tourism demonstration site.
