Desperate Slope is located in Tianping Mountain, Suzhou. With an altitude of 201 meters, the mountain is steep, precipitous, and extremely dangerous. In ancient times, it was called Baiyun Mountain and also known as Cishan Mountain. It is the burial place of the ancestors of Fan Zhongyan, a famous official in the Northern Song Dynasty.
