Dinghui Temple

Dinghui Temple is a famous temple on Jiaoshan Mountain. Its original name is Puji Zen Temple. It was first built during the Xingping period of the Eastern Han Dynasty. The temple still maintains the architectural style of the Ming Dynasty. The roof of the main hall with carved dragons and painted phoenixes does not use nails. It is all made of small square wooden blocks. The pattern is beautiful. There are also cornices and brackets. The art is superb and rare in China. Coupled with the three magnificent golden Buddhas in the hall, the main hall is even more majestic. The two characters ‘Xianglin’ written by Emperor Kangxi shine among the candlelight and incense mist. There are many scenic spots in the temple. Emperor Qianlong also visited here in person and left landscape buildings such as the Imperial Stele Pavilion and Guanlan Pavilion. Opening hours: Open all year round from 08:00 to 17:00.
