Ding’s Trotter is the’stewed pig’s trotters’ specially made by the deli ‘Ding Yixing’. It began in 1852, the second year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty. As the shop owner’s surname is Ding, it is named ‘Ding’s Trotter’. It has a history of 150 years and is one of the ‘Four Treasures of Fengjing’. It is a famous delicacy included in China’s specialty products. As early as a hundred years ago, it was renowned in Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions and was also popular in the capital.


Later, it was sold to Southeast Asia, Europe and America. It has received awards and certificates from more than 20 countries and regions. It has won the gold medal at international expositions twice. To this day, this specialty is still in short supply. Now we are visiting Ding’s Trotter Workshop.
