Moon Bay is located in Moon Bay Village, Cai Village Town, Jing County, on the west side of the South Anhui-Tibet Line. Here, far from the city, the people are simple and honest, and the scenery is pleasant. The gurgling mountain springs are mixed with the grace and elegance of Jiangnan. It is a natural scenery and is known as ‘Little Guilin in Anhui’. Entering the scenic area, what catches the eye are the layered peaks and the green bamboos all over the mountains.
The shoals of fish and shrimps in the river are playing heartily. In the deep mountains in the distance, from time to time, the sound of bamboo cutting by bamboo cutters and the chant of boatmen can be heard. When visiting Moon Bay, you can take a bamboo raft downstream. The clear stream and the vast bamboo sea pass by. The oncoming breeze, mixed with the fragrance of spring bamboo, is refreshing.Moon Bay has been selected as an outdoor shooting base by many film studios. Many classic film and television works such as ‘Laughter in Moon Bay’, ‘Uproar in Moon Bay’, ‘Red Memory’ and ‘Reconnaissance across the Yangtze River’ have all shot outdoor scenes here.
