Dongchang Road Ferry Terminal operates two routes: one with air conditioning and the other without. Both routes lead to the same destination. This location was one of the security checkpoints during the Shanghai World Expo and serves as a transportation hub on the Huangpu River. Historically, it was a shortcut for crossing the river from Xiao Lujiazui. Now, with the introduction of air-conditioned ferries, the discomfort of cold winters and hot summers has become a thing of the past. Taking a ferry across the river, one can enjoy the cool breeze inside the boat, making it a true pleasure. The terminal is open all year round from 07:30 to 21:00.
