Donghai Banshan is located on the coast of the East China Sea in Shipu Town, Xiangshan County. It is surrounded by the sea on three sides and shaped like a unicorn. Two islands accompany it. Relying on the natural and cultural resources such as mountains, oceans, beaches, and fishing villages in this area, it has been built into a seaside resort and leisure place integrating mass tourism, business leisure, coastal vacation, and health preservation. Time has left the’magic’ on this East China Sea peninsula shaped like a auspicious beast unicorn. Legendary stories such as Zhu Bajie splitting the mountain, the Dragon King presenting treasures, Xu Fu’s eastward voyage, and Qi Jiguang’s resistance against Japanese pirates are sung here.
