The Donghai Crystal Museum of China is one of the largest and most prestigious museums in our country, dedicated to the theme of crystal. It is located at No. 1 Zhonghua Road, Donghai County, by the beautiful Xishuang Lake, in the core area of the new urban district. The museum integrates various functions such as the display of crystal masterpieces, silicon industry exhibition, historical artifacts, academic discussions, and international exchanges.


It gathers high-quality and exquisite natural crystal stones and crystal crafts from Donghai and around the world, showcasing the crystal world’s sparkling beauty and endless charm to the world. It plays a significant role in enhancing the competitiveness of Donghai’s crystal industry and promoting the integration of crystal with culture. In January 2015, the museum was awarded the honorary title of ‘China Crystal Museum’ by the China Arts and Crafts Association.


In July of the same year, it was listed as the Donghai branch of the China Geological Museum, and in December, it successfully applied to become a national 4A-level tourist attraction. Opening hours are Tuesday-Sunday 09:00-17:30; closed all day on Monday; open on National Day 09:00-17:30. The museum is closed on Mondays, excluding national holidays; the specific business status is subject to the daily opening situation.



Essential tips for visitors: 1. No smoking or loud talking inside the museum. 2. Do not touch cultural relics and exhibits. 3. Please consciously accept security checks before visiting. 4. No flash, tripods, selfie sticks, or other equipment when taking photos in the exhibition hall. 5. Do not bring any controlled knives, lighters, dangerous goods, or pets into the venue. 6. Please park your vehicles in the designated spots in the parking lot. 7. Group visits require advance reservation. 8. Drunkards, those with improper attire, and those without or with limited behavioral capacity without a guardian are not allowed to enter. 9. Others who may endanger exhibit safety or affect the audience’s visit are not allowed to enter.
