Dongsha Lake Ecological Park is one of the largest parks in Suzhou Industrial Park, covering an area of 1.21 million square meters, with 670,000 square meters of land and 540,000 square meters of water. In addition to the scenery created by thousands of planted trees, the park is equipped with landscape bridges, pebble beaches, viewing pavilions, beautiful water plank roads, and 30,000 square meters of hard ground, complemented by a set of fountains, lighting, sound, tea rooms, toilets, and other amenities, providing convenience for visitors.

The design of the landscape bridges is particularly distinctive, with 15 bridges each unique. Among them, Bridge No. 1 spans the east and west like a rainbow, resembling a colorful cloud or a flying rainbow, which is very eye-catching. On the cherry blossom island, four buildings with different styles are set up, and Bridge No. 3 is specially designed for the blind with tactile paving and barriers, providing conditions for the blind to visit the park.

On the east coast of the lake, Suzhou garden elements are integrated into the landscape, with locally produced yellow stones piled up to form a series of undulating yellow stone rockeries, and climbing plants such as trumpet creepers and ivy are planted in the crevices of the rocks to make the rockeries more natural and verdant. The construction of the beautiful water plank road adds more interest, with a total length of 15,000 square meters of wooden plank road built along the water, offering a unique experience for pedestrians.

The park is open all year round and offers parking facilities at Dongsha Lake Ecological Park – Parking Lot (Dongshenhu Road). The reference price is a fee-based system, with free parking for the first 10 minutes and 5 yuan per entry (subject to the actual charges at the scenic spot).
