The Dongtai City Museum is located on Dongting South Road in Dongtai City. It is a local comprehensive public welfare institution fully funded by the government and隶属于 the Dongtai City Cultural and广电 New Bureau. The museum is currently housed within the Dongtai City Historical and Cultural Expo Museum, initially established in 1958 and reconstructed in 1986. The museum also oversees the daily opening and management of the Historical and Cultural Expo Museum, Yifeng Garden, Ge Gongzhen Memorial Hall, Zhou Weizhi Wang Kun Art Museum, and Zhang Jian Memorial Hall.

Opening hours are from Tuesday to Sunday, 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM; the museum is closed all day on Mondays; on National Day, it is open from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Please refer to the daily opening status for specific business conditions.

Essential tips:

1. Minors under 18, disabled persons, and elderly over 70 must be accompanied by a guardian or visit in an organized group.

2. Drunkards, improperly dressed individuals, and those without behavioral capacity are not allowed to enter the museum.
