Located within the museum, designed by Mr. Wu Liangyong with the concept of ‘the essence of a tiny boat’, a miniature ‘Land of Illusion’ is created within ‘the lingering charm of the Lianting’, marking the entrance to the Dreamlike Immersive Exhibition. On the site of Cao Xueqin’s birthplace, a literary feast that is both dreamlike and real is about to commence.
【Story Outline】The mysterious entrepreneur and collector, Mr. Cao, is obsessed with ‘Dream of the Red Chamber’ and has meticulously collected 10 museum-quality pieces related to the Red Chamber, creating the ‘Dreamlike Immersive Exhibition: A Journey Through the Red Chamber’ art exhibition. It is said that those who enter the museum possess the power to bestow creation. During the appreciation process, once the device is triggered, the door to the Land of Illusion will open, and visitors will transform into dream travelers, falling into the illusion to experience the joys and sorrows, embarking on a brand new journey.
【Exhibition Features】The exhibition pioneers a new model of ‘immersive literature’, with the experience of literary IP content at its core and immersive technology as the mainstay. Utilizing holographic imaging, virtual reality, and other technological means, it creates a cultural experience space that integrates immersive scenic space, immersive digital light and shadow art, immersive performance interaction, and immersive leisure and entertainment, deeply mining the contemporary value of classic literature.
