Introduction: A Dream Return to West Lake, Bound by Millennia
West Lake, a dazzling pearl on the land of China, is renowned not only for its picturesque natural scenery but also for the ancient folk tales that shroud it in a veil of mystery. As the first light of dawn broke through, we embarked on a team-building event titled ‘Embarking on a Legend: West Lake Chronicles.’ The event, inspired by the love story of the White Snake and Xu Xian, ingeniously blends modern team-building concepts, allowing participants to experience the power of teamwork while in pursuit of legends.

Role-Playing, Immersed in the Moment
At the start of the event, we transformed into classic characters such as the White Snake, Xiaoqing, Fahai, and Xu Xian by drawing character cards. This creative idea instantly pulled us into a world filled with romance and fantasy. The division of three major factions—humans, immortals, and demons—ensured the fairness of the game while stimulating team cohesion. We collaborated and faced challenges together, as if truly traveling through time and space to fight alongside characters from ancient legends.

Wisdom Labyrinth, A Test of Teamwork
Next was the ‘Legendary Labyrinth Exploration’ segment. We navigated through a virtual labyrinth filled with puzzles and challenges, relying on the collective wisdom and collaboration of our team to find the exit. Each clue discovered and every problem solved was a testament to the joint efforts and tacit understanding of team members.Treasure Hunt Challenge, Heritage and Innovation Combined
The afternoon ‘West Lake Legend Treasure Hunt’ task further pushed the event to its climax. We became explorers, searching for ‘treasures’ at various West Lake scenic spots based on task hints. Whether it was the group dragon water drawing at Su Causeway in Spring Dawn, the painting relay at Willow Waves Whispering in the Evening, or the pot-throwing challenge at the Lotus Pool at Crooked Courtyard, each task was brimming with creativity and fun. We completed the challenges amidst laughter, deepening our understanding of West Lake culture and our recognition of teamwork.

When we successfully emerged from the labyrinth, the sense of achievement and joy was indescribable.

As the award ceremony concluded, the team-building event came to a successful end. During the free exchange time, everyone shared their gains and insights from the event.
