Emperor Gaozu, Liu Bang, was originally from Pei County in present-day Xuzhou. The temple serves as a memorial for Liu Bang. The main hall of Emperor Gaozu’s Temple consists of three rooms, with six rooms on the east and west sides, and a front gate building of three rooms, surrounded by a high courtyard wall. The temple has been renovated multiple times throughout the dynasties. By the end of the Qing Dynasty, it was temporarily used as a private school and occasionally housed troops. It is open to visitors all year round from 08:30 to 17:30, with specific opening times subject to the notices at the scenic spot.
