The China Art Museum, formerly the China Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo, is now open for visitors to leisurely explore its majestic architecture. In addition to viewing the museum’s treasure, the multimedia version of ‘Along the River During the Qingming Festival’, numerous modern artists’ works are also on display.
The multimedia exhibition of ‘Along the River During the Qingming Festival’ is located on the 49th floor, where it has been permanently housed since the closing of the World Expo. It remains a popular highlight within the China Art Museum. This floor also features the ‘Rising Moon over the Sea – The Source of Modern Chinese Art’ exhibition, showcasing the eclectic paintings of the ‘Shanghai School’, which is a long-term display.
