Located at the southern foot of Huzhou Taihu Lake Tourist Resort, it was originally named Shidou Mountain and also known as Baique Temple. The mountain is named after the temple and is one of the four famous temples in Huzhou. It is a temple with Guanyin as the theme. Judging from the architectural structure, this hall has nothing special. However, the land it occupies is extraordinary. The legendary story just mentioned happened here.
Under the Buddhist altar in the middle of the hall is the precious niche where the divine nun was originally buried. A green lotus grows out from between the bluestone slabs below. The Buddha statue sitting on the upper end of the Buddhist altar is Guanyin Bodhisattva. This Guanyin Bodhisattva is different from those in other temples. Dressed in ladies’ attire, she looks like a beautiful and handsome princess. In fact, she is really a princess of a prince. People worship her as Guanyin Bodhisattva because of a solemn and moving folk myth.Opening hours: Open all year round from 07:00 to 16:00.
