The beauty of the garden lies in its mountains and waters; the subtlety of the garden is hidden in its depths; the winding paths seem to break and continue, and the depth of the garden is suitable for both winter and spring. A Jiangdu scholar used 28 characters to express the uniqueness of Fairy Park compared to other gardens. The park was built in 1985, covering an area of only a few acres, but its layout and the beauty of the scenery are unforgettable.

The park is located on the east bank of the Mangdao River, at the eastern end of the Qizha Bridge, adjacent to the water and the embankment. To the west, the ancient Mangdao River meanders with shimmering waves; to the south, the Qizha Bridge spans across the Mangdao River like a rainbow lying on the water. In front of Fairy Park, there stands a stone archway, simple and ancient, built with light red chisel stones, with four pillars all taking the form of Huabia, entwined with cloud patterns.

The front archway inscribed with ‘Longchuan’s Famous Site’ and the back with ‘Fairy’s Traces’, both are majestic and elegant, with a simple and ancient style. These eight characters not only point out Jiangdu as a famous site of Longchuan and the old traces of fairies, evoking thoughts of ancient times, but also cleverly embed the words ‘dragon’ and ‘fairy’ at the beginning of the four characters, naturally reminding people of the famous saying ‘A mountain is not high, but famous if there are immortals; water is not deep, but spiritual if there are dragons’.
