The Fan Wenzheng Gongzhonglie Temple, located at the southern foot of Tianping Mountain, is also known as the Fan Gong Shrine. It is an important building in the Tianping Mountain scenic area and is a ‘Cultural Relics Protection Unit of Jiangsu Province’. Inside the shrine, there are statues of Fan Zhongyan and his four sons (Fan Chunyou, Fan Chunren, Fan Chunli, and Fan Chuncui). Among them, the statue of Fan Zhongyan is in the center in a sitting position, with a height of 3.6 meters. The eldest son Fan Chunyou and the third son Fan Chunli are on the east side, while the second son Fan Chunren and the fourth son Fan Chuncui are on the west side. The statues of the four sons are all in a standing position, with a height of 2.2 meters. Under each statue, there is a Xumizuo made of local bluestone. The stone seat is engraved with fine patterns and has a rather simple and unsophisticated atmosphere.
