The Feiying Pagoda is located in Feiying Park in Huzhou City. Commonly known as ‘pagoda within a pagoda’, it is one of the three wonders of Hucheng. The outer tower of the Feiying Pagoda has a brick-wood mixed structure and is also called a pavilion-style tower. It has seven floors and eight sides and is 55 meters high. Inside the outer tower, there is a narrow wooden escalator. Climbing up step by step, one can clearly see the stone statues on the inner tower from top to bottom. When climbing to a high place, one can see that there is a round hole on the top of the inner tower. On a clear day with few clouds, when looking into the distance from a high place, one can see the vast Taihu Lake and the panoramic view of Hucheng. The inner stone tower is like a huge carved art treasure. The stone tower is 15 meters high, with five floors and eight sides and is an authentic work of the Southern Song Dynasty. The various carved figures, animals, flowers, etc. on the stone tower are lifelike and vivid, reflecting the superb skills of ancient Chinese craftsmen and rich Buddhist culture. It is an artistic treasure of ancient Chinese architecture. Opening hours: Open from 08:30 to 16:30 all year round.
