Feiying Park is named after Feiying Pagoda. It was built in 1996. The entire Feiying Park covers an area of nearly 3 hectares and costs more than 30 million yuan. In the park, in addition to Feiying Pagoda, a cultural relic protection unit, there are also precious historical sites left over from different dynasties in Huzhou City: Yunhai Tower where Yan Zhenqing, the governor and calligrapher of Huzhou in the Tang Dynasty, compiled ‘Yunhai Jingyuan’; Momiao Pavilion built in the Northern Song Dynasty; the archway with the origin of ‘Feiying Pagoda’; Liuketang where literati and officials such as Su Dongpo, Zhang Xian, Chen Shunyu, Yang Hui, Li Chang and Liu Shu talked about poetry and tasted tea; and Xiting and Zhaoxi Hall related to the place name of Wuxing.
